Using booxi to offer online appointment booking to your customers provides you different options to present your schedules. 

To answer your needs, booxi gives you the flexibility to configure it differently for each service.  

1. Ask your customers their availability, then assign the appointment request to the professional of your choice. 

Ask your customers to provide up to 5 time slots for which they will be available.
Then you'll have to assign this appointment request to the professional you want, according to the requested time slots. 

How to set it up? 

  • Go on the Services tab,
  • Select the appointment you want to configure and click on  Appointment Rules. 
  • Then activates the following options "Enable Online Booking", "Show Availability Online" and "Disable personnel selection" (so they all have to be in blue).
  • Then in the section "Time Selection Mode" select the option "Ask client's availability".

2. Ask customers their availability, after choosing a specific staff

Ask your customers to provide 5 time slots for which they will be available, after selecting the desired professional. 

Note: Then you'll have to manually assign this appointment to a specific time slot and the client will receive a message to confirm his appointment. 

How to set it up? 

  • Go on the Services tab,
  • Select the appointment you want to configure and click on  Appointment Rules. 
  • Then make sure to activate the option " Enable Online Booking" (so it becomes  blue) but make sure to keep the option "Disable personnel selection" disable (in grey).

3. Show your schedules to your clients 

Add your availabilities in your booxi calendar and present them online so your clients can directly select the time slot that suits them best.

How to set it up? 

  • Go on the Services tab,
  • Select the appointment you want to configure and click on  Appointment Rules. 
  • Make sure to activate "Enable Online Booking" and "Show Availability Online" (they would be in blue) and keep "Disable personnel selection" (would stay in grey).
  • Click on Save and it's done.

4. Automatic Dispatch 

With this option, booxi allows your customers  too select the perfect hour for him without having to select a specific professional.

booxi will automatically assign the appointment to the calendar of the first professional available for the desired time slots. 

How to set it up? 

  • Go on the Services tab,
  • Select the appointment you want to configure and click on  Appointment Rules. 
  • Make sure to activate the 3 following options "Enable Online Booking", "Show Availability Online" and "Disable personnel selection" (they all should be in blue).
  • Then in the section "Time Selection Mode", make sure to select the option "Display time slot with automatic dispatch". 

5. Offer Open booking 

This option allows you to receive an unlimited number of appointment requests.

How to set it up?  

  • Go on the Services tab,
  • Select the appointment you want to configure and click on  Appointment Rules. 
  • Make sure to activate the 3 following options "Enable Online Booking", "Show Availability Online" and "Disable personnel selection" (they all should be in blue).
  • Then in the section "Time Selection Mode", make sure to select the option "Display time slots selection".

    *The schedules visible online correspond to the business open hours.
    Then you'll have to assign this appointment to the right professional. 

Note: With this configuration, there is no limit to the number of appointments that can be booked online, for the same time slot.
Be careful with this setting, as it can be a source of double bookings.
