Giving business owners the options to provide several different booking options is an important feature booxi is proud to offer. One important request that your staff might want is being able to have the flexibility to choose whether or not they want their schedule visible or not to their customers. booxi allows you to configure your personnel availability, as well as resource availability.

Personnel Calendar Dispatch Options

No Personnel Selection + Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch

  1. The first option we will go through is when the Online Personnel Selection is “No personnel Selection” and Time Selection Mode set to “Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch”.

When these options are selected, the customer will not have the option to choose a personnel, they simply choose the date and time that is available for that service.

2. When “No Personnel Selection” is selected for a service with “Automatic Dispatch”, , they won’t have the option to choose a personnel and the service will be randomly assigned to someone.

3. After selecting the date they prefer, a list of available times will be displayed without the personnel names. The customer will know who will be providing the service on the day of the appointment.

No Personnel Selection + Display Time Slots with Automatic Dispatch (Ressource)

  1. Selecting this option will prioritize the resource availability over the personnel availability. This option is best suited for services that absolutely require a resource in order to complete the booking.

  2. Make sure your resource availability is up to date. You can do this by going to the resource section, then clicking on availability schedule.

3. Click on the selected service, and under booking rules, select “No Personnel Selection + Display Time Slots with Automatic Dispatch (Ressource).

4. When the client selects this service, they will be asked to select the number of people attending the appointment, the date and time. The available dates and times that will be shown are based on the resource availability that was programmed earlier, not the personnel schedule.

No Personnel Selection + Display Time Slots Without Availability Check

  1. When selecting this option, the customer will be asked to select the number of people using the service.

2. Then the customer will be asked to select the date and time.

3. Once the time slot is selected, the appointment request will be sent to the business.
The customer will then receive a confirmation email if the appointment is approved.

No Personnel Selection + Ask Client’s Availability

  1. The customer will be asked to select the number of people using the service.

2. The customer will then be asked to select up to 5 availabilities, dates and time slots.

3. The customer will then fill out their contact information and the appointment request will be sent to the business. Once a date and time is confirmed, the customer will receive a confirmation email.

Personnel Selection + Ask Client’s Availability

  1. After selecting the desired service, the customer will be asked to select the personnel of their choice.

2. Next, they will be asked to include the number of people who want to book an appointment.

3. Next, the customer selects a date and time.

4. Finally, the customer fills out their contact information. They will then receive an appointment confirmation email with their preferred personnel, date and time.

Personnel Selection + Display Time Slots Without Availability Check

  1. This selection displays availability based on the location’s opening hours. Once the customer selects the desired date and time, they will be asked to fill out a request form. Once it’s approved, they will be sent a confirmation email.

Personnel Selection + Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch

  1. When “Personnel Selection “ and “Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch” is selected for a service under “booking rules”, a list of personnel will be displayed during the booking process. You will then be able to choose the date and time available for that person.

Note: The personnel must have their availability as online. To do this, go to Personnel, Select the personnel, Booking Rules, then Select “Show Availability Online”.

2. When the customer clicks the “book now” button, the calendar will look like this:

3. After the customer has selected a personnel, the list of available times for the personnel will be displayed.

4. If the personnel has their availability not set to “Show Availability Online”, after you select the personnel, you will have the option to choose a few different time slots. The request will be sent to the personnel, and they will select the final time and date. A confirmation email will be sent to the customer.

5. If the personnel has their availability set to “show availability online”, then the customer will be able to see that personnel’s schedule and time availability.

6. After the customer has selected their preferred date and time, they will be sent a confirmation email.

Personnel Selection + Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch (Resources)

  1. When the customer selects this option, they will have the choice to select their preferred personnel.

2. Once the staff is selected, the time slots displayed will be based on the resource availability, not on the staff schedule.

3. Once the date and time is selected, the customer will be asked to fill out their contact information, and an appointment request will be sent. Once it’s approved, the customer will receive a confirmation email with their appointment details.

No Preference + Personnel Selection / Ask Client’s Availability

This option is offered if you’d like booxi to randomly select a personnel to the customer for their appointment, while also asking for their availability.

  1. After selecting the desired service, the customer has the option to select ‘No Preference’ for which personnel is assigned.

2. The customer will then be asked to provide up to 5 availabilities.

3. The customer will then be asked to provide their contact information. The request will be sent to the business, and once they approve a time and date, the customer will then receive an email confirming the date and time of the appointment. The personnel will be assigned by the staff upon the customer’s arrival to the appointment.

No Preference + Personnel Selection/Display Time Slots without Availability Check

This option will display every time slot for a specific date, but the customer will have to send an appointment request with the desired time. There is no preference for the personnel for this option.

  1. The client will be asked to select the service, select ‘No Preference’ for the personnel, and then choose a date and time slot.

2. After the customer selects a time slot, they will be asked to provide their contact information. The appointment request will be sent to the business for approval. Once it’s approved, the customer will receive an email confirming the date and time. The personnel will be assigned by the staff upon the customer’s arrival to the appointment.

No Preference + Personnel Selection/Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch

  1. If the service is set to this option, then the customer will be shown only available dates and times.

2. The customer will have to select a date, and a list of available time slots will be displayed.

3. The customer will then have to fill out their contact information, and once the appointment is approved, they will receive a confirmation by email with the details of their appointment.

4. The personnel will be assigned by the staff upon the customer’s arrival to the appointment.

No Preference + Personnel Selection/Display Time Slot with Automatic Dispatch (Resources)

Setting your service with this option will favour the resource availability over the personnel schedule.

  1. The customer will be asked to select a date and time, and fill out their contact information. Once it’s approved by the business, the customer will receive an email confirmation with their appointment details.

  2. The personnel will be assigned by the staff upon the customer’s arrival to the appointment.
