Template store

To access your template store, go to the "My Stores" tab.

The template store allows you to quickly create stores with predefined settings and attributes to avoid having to configure it every time. It is also used to apply changes to those stores.

Your template store can be identified by the crown icon seen below:

How to create a store

To create a store, simply select the "Add a new store" button from the options menu shown below:

A window will open; enter all required fields:

  • Business Name

  • Category

  • Account owner email (by default the email address of the owner of the template; can be changed)

    • "Create a user access for me": check if you want to make someone else the owner but want to retain access also.

  • Account owner first and last name (by default the name of the person creating the store)

  • [Checkbox] Copy template services

    • Check to make your store inherit the template store's services

  • [Checkbox] I agree to purchase a new subscription for that store.

    • *Note: this is simply meant as a reminder that the addition of the new store will potentially impact your subscription fee. For more info, contact your Booxi representative.

Once created, configure the following:

Stores created from the Head Office inherit the template's store Business details, Open hours and Booking rules (exceptions: "Enable online booking" is disabled, and the store is listed offline by default).

  • Assigned Services

  • Assigned Personnel: assign Head Office users to the store

    • *Note: to assign staff members to services, you must do so in the Back Office.

Every store has its own ID, as seen below:

How to deactivate a store

To deactivate a store, go to the "My Stores" tab, select it, then click "Deactivate" from the options menu, as shown below:

Clients will not be able to book services at this store.

Template services

To access your template services, go to the "Services" tab.

Template services allow you to quickly create services with predefined settings and attributes to avoid having to do so in every store. They are also used to apply changes to those services in select stores.

In the Back Office, services that were created from the Head Office's templates can be identified by the crown icon seen below:

See here to learn how to create and manage services.

Populate the template services in your selected store(s)

To populate your template services in a store, go to the "My Stores" tab > {select a store} > Assigned Services, then check the box of the template service(s) you want to exist in that store and save.

If you deselect a service assigned to a store, the service will automatically be removed from that store; any existing bookings employing that service will remain in your calendar.

See here to learn how to apply changes to services in all associated stores.
