User access roles and permissions
Updated this week

There are different user roles in Booxi; these roles determine the level of access and associated permissions each user has. The roles include the following:

  • Administrator

  • Supervisor

  • Manager

  • Staff

  • Restricted Staff

User roles only apply to users who've been invited to join Booxi (i.e. those who have access to their own Booxi account); this is for staff members who use Booxi to perform business operations (e.g. manage appointments and schedules). To invite a user to join Booxi, see here.

Edit a staff member's user role

Only administrators can edit a staff's user role.

To edit a staff member's user role: go to the "Personnel" tab > {select a staff profile} > User access

Permissions per role

Here is a list of permissions per user role.

  • "Accessible calendars" refers to the staff member's own calendar and all shared calendars.

  • "Manage" refers to all operations (create, view, edit and delete)
