How clients book a group event reservation, client notifications, tracking page

Updated this week

To better understand your clients and their needs, it is helpful to understand their booking experience.

Booking the appointment: Booking widget

  1. The client visits your website or your Booxi booking page.

  2. The client opens the booking widget.

  3. The client selects (in order) a category, a service, a staff member* (depends on settings), the amount of attendees and a date/time.

  4. The client enters their contact information, chooses whether to be listed as an attendee, chooses whether to receive an booking reminder and if so, whether by email and/or SMS.

  5. The client enters the attendee(s) information.

  6. The client decides whether to agree with the presented consents (i.e. terms and conditions); if so, they confirm the booking.

  7. The client and attendee(s) are sent a booking confirmation via email and/or SMS (depending on decision in step 6), unless the option "Do not send messages to participants" was checked.

Notifications: emails/SMS

The email will contain an ICS link, which the client can download and use to add the event to their personal calendar application (e.g. Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, etc.).

For clients using a gmail address, an option to add the event to their calendar will appear at the top of the email.

Tracking page

All reservation emails contain a link to the tracking page, which includes all the reservation details, as well as links to cancel (if allowed; see Business and/or Service booking rules).
