When your customers book online, you can ask for mandatory information before the booking is confirmed. This way you make sure to have the client's email address and/or phone number in case you need to contact him.

Asking for mandatory online booking information is one of the multiple Business booking rules that you can set up.

To do that, follow these steps:

  1. Connect to your Booxi account

  2. Go to My Business tab

  3. Click on Booking rules and scroll down to “Mandatory Online Booking Information”

  4. Turn on/off the information that will be mandatory for your customers

  5. Click on Save and you're done!

Here are the different information you can request :

  • Enforce following settings to offline booking will enforce these settings even when you create an appointment manually in your calendar

  • Client email address is mandatory will force your customer to enter an email address to book an appointment or make a reservation

  • Client phone is mandatory will force your customer to enter a phone number to book an appointment or make a reservation

  • Attendee email address is mandatory will force your customer to enter an email address for each attendee during the booking of a group event

  • Attendee phone is mandatory and will force your customer to enter a phone number for each attendee during the booking of a group event
