How to create and manage services

How to create/delete and duplicate services, how to create/delete service categories, how to re-order services and service categories

This article contains the following sections:

How to create a service 

  1. Navigate to the "Services" tab.

  2. Click the clipboard icon.

  3. Name the service

  4. Choose a category to assign it to (default is the "Main Services" category).

  5. Choose its booking type.

  6. Click "New".

Next, we recommend filling out the following sections:

  • Service details: basic service information

  • Assigned Personnel: list of staff members that can work this service

  • Assigned Resources: resources (i.e. items, materials or assets) necessary for the carrying out of the service (e.g. a room, a piece of equipment, etc.)

  • Booking Rules: settings relating to the booking of the service

*Note: when a service is created, it is listed as offline by default (i.e. it won't be available for booking). If you want to make it available for booking, list it online (see below): 

How to duplicate services

If you have many services to create, you can save time by duplicating them. Here's how:

  1. Select the service(s) you want to duplicate (max. 10), by checking its associated box.

  2. Click on the options icon, then select "Duplicate Services".

Each duplicated service will contain “COPY” in its name.

Then, make any necessary changes to the service(s) you created (if applicable).

How to create a service category

Create service categories to organize your service list.

Service categories will be displayed to clients when booking online.

  1. In the Services tab, click the folder icon shown below:

  2. Provide a category name.

  3. Click "New".

You can add a category description (optional).

How to delete a service category

  1. Find the category you want to delete and click the pen icon shown below:

  2. Click the folder bin icon shown below:

  3. Click "Delete".

“Main Services” is the default category and cannot be deleted. If you delete a service category that has services assigned to it, all the services will be moved to the "Main Services" category.


How to change the order of services

You can change the order of services at any time.

  1. Click the options icon, as shown below:

  2. Click "Reorder Services".

  3. Check the box of the service(s) you want to reorder, and use the arrows at the top of the list to move them up or down.

  4. Once completed, click "Save".


How to change the order of service categories

You can change the order of service categories at any time:

  1. Click the options icon, as shown below:

  2. Click "Reorder Categories".

  3. Check the box of the category(ies) you want to reorder, and use the arrows at the top of the list to move them up or down.

  4. Once completed, click "Save".
