Yes, Booxi supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all other digital wallet and online payment options provided by your connected payment integration partners, Stripe or Square.
Booxi supports these payment methods indirectly by leveraging the advanced capabilities of Stripe and Square.
Since the digital wallets are part of Stripe's and Square's service offering, no setup is needed in Booxi; as long as you've enabled either Stripe or Square in your Booxi account (see Integration Modules), these will be available.
*Note: Square is only supported in the booking widget v2, not v3.
Requirements
For a customer to see and use the Apple Pay or Google Pay button, specific device and account conditions must be met. If the button is not visible, it is almost always due to the customer's device settings, not an issue with your Booxi setup.
Digital Wallet | Required Conditions |
Apple Pay | The customer is using a compatible Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac) or a desktop computer where they can authenticate using their iPhone (via QR code scan). They must also have a credit or debit card saved in their Apple Wallet. |
Google Pay | The customer is using a compatible device (Android phone or desktop) and a compatible web browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). They must also have a credit or debit card saved to their Google Pay account. |
No Saved Card/Wallet | If the customer does not have a card saved in their respective digital wallet, the button will not show, and they will be prompted to enter their card details manually. |
