Connect your Lightspeed account
First, connect your Lightspeed account with Booxi:
Go to "My Business" tab > Integration modules > Lightspeed Retail
Toggle the setting ON, then click the configuration icon shown below:
Sign-in to your Lightspeed account using your Lightspeed credentials (email and password), making sure to authorize access to your account.
Once connected, fill out the required fields in the following form:
Select the Associated Shop for which you want to manage bookings.
Select the Preferred Register, with which the sales will be created.
Select the Tax Category and Default Tax Class that best define your labor sales tax.
Save.
By default, you need to manually create sales in Booxi for them to appear in Lightspeed.
However, if you want Booxi to automatically trigger the creation of sales in Lightspeed, activate the "Online payment" at the bottom of the configuration window. To do so, you must be integrated with Stripe and your services' payment method must be set to "Online booking".
Associate your services to Lightspeed non-inventory items
Associating your services to Lightspeed non-inventory items will ensure that whenever a sale for this service is created, it will be associated with the right item in Lightspeed.
Choose the associated item that should appear in a sale when this service is given.
In your Booxi account, go to the "Services" tab, select a service and click on "Service Details".
In the "Link with Lightspeed" dropdown menu, select the appropriate item.
Click "Save".
Repeat for every relevant service.
Associate Booxi personnel to Lightspeed employees
Associating Booxi personnel to their corresponding employees in Lightspeed will cause the employee to appear in the sale screen when the service is provided.
Go to the "Personnel" tab, select a staff member, then click "Personnel Details".
In the "Link with Lightspeed" dropdown menu, select the appropriate employee.
Click "Save".
Repeat for every relevant service.
Import your Lightspeed customers
Go to the "Clients" tab.
Click the Options Icon, then select "Import from Lightspeed".
In the window, click "Import Customers".
If you import more than once, clients that exist already in Booxi won't be imported again.
There is no sync of customer information from Lightspeed to Booxi.
