General guidelines

Here's how to use the videoconferencing feature from a client's perspective:

1- Once your booking (appointment or reservation) is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the name of the person providing the service, the date/time of the call, and the video conference link.

If you try to click on the video link more than one hour before the scheduled start time, you will see this message.

  • You do not need to install any software to access the call.

  • You must grant your browser access to your camera and microphone to be able to participate.

2- To join the call, simply click the videoconference link in the email, then click "Join" as shown below:

The video conference interface will appear:

At the bottom of the screen, these 4 buttons are displayed (from left to right):

  1. Mute/unmute your microphone

  2. Enable/disable your camera

  3. Share your screen

  4. Leave the call

At the top right of the screen, these 3 buttons will be displayed (from left to right):

  1. Mute/unmute your microphone

  2. Make your video full screen

  3. Access camera and microphone settings

The microphone icon will animate when you talk, so you can use this to test the functioning of your microphone.

The screen in the center highlights the pinned person (you can choose to pin whoever you want), while the other participants appear as small thumbnails on your right.

Mobile

You can also access conference calls via mobile devices.

When you click on the videoconference link from your phone, you will be prompted to grant access to your camera and microphone. Click "Join" to start the call.

Screen sharing is not available on mobile.

Browser Compatibility

The following browser/device combinations are supported:

Troubleshooting

If you're experiencing issues with your microphone or camera, click on the settings icon at the top right of the screen, then try changing the audio input and/or output sources or the video input source.

Potential issues

If you can't access the video conference page, it may due to following issues:

  • You haven't granted access to your camera and microphone

  • Your browser requires an update.

  • Your browser/device combination is not supported (see "Browser compatibility")

  • Your ad blocker is blocking access.

Call recording is not currently possible.
