Offering services via video conference
Updated over a week ago

In Booxi, you can provide services to your clients via videoconference. You can either use our videoconferencing solution which automatically generates video links for you and your client, or provide your own links using an external tool (e.g. Google Meet, Zoom, Webex, etc).

To make use of Booxi's videoconference solution, contact your Booxi representative to activate it.

Enable videoconference for services

To offer a service through videoconference, go to the "Services" tab > {select a service} > set the Location to "By Video Conference".

If you want to use Booxi's videoconferencing solution, make sure to check "Generate video conference link".

If you want to use an external videoconferencing solution, uncheck "Generate video conference link", then enter a link in the provided space; this will serve as your default link.

Booking a video conference appointment

Whenever an appointment is booked for a service whose location is set to "By Video Conference", a video conference link will be generated for both you and your client.

Video conference options

Booxi's videoconferencing solution does not require installing any software on your desktop or smartphone. You'll need to grant it access to your microphone and/or camera to be able to participate. During the call, you may perform any of the following actions:

  • Mute/unmute yourself

  • Enable/disable your camera

  • Share your screen

  • Leave the conference.

Use the action menu at the top right to access your settings. Here, you can change your audio input/output and video input sources.
