Quick notes, client/appointment notes. additional requests

In Booxi, there are 3 different types of notes:

Quick notes

These are client notes which are visible in the client profile; all staff members can see this note.

  • Go to: "Clients" tab > Client Details > "Quick Note"

Client/Appointment notes

These are client notes which can be linked to an appointment (optional), not visible to the client.

These notes can either be created from the client's profile or the appointment window:

How to create a note from the client profile

  1. Go to "Clients" tab > Client Details > Client Notes

  2. Click "Add a Note".

  3. A window will popup:

    1. Enter a title.

    2. Choose whether to share the note with other staff members or keep it private (this option will only be shown if your client note visibility setting is set to "Allow both (private and shared)"; see here for more info.

    3. Select a content type, “empty” or “SOAPIE”.

    4. When finished, click “OK” to create the note.

  4. Enter content in the text editing box.

  5. Link the note to an appointment (optional)

  6. Mark the note as "Important" (optional): this will list the note at the top of the list

All notes are on the right side of the window, listed with the date/time of its most recent edit and the name of person who created it.

How to create a note from the appointment window in the Calendar

When creating a note from the appointment window, the note will be linked to the appointment. Notes that are linked to appointments can be identified with the appointment icon as shown below:

These notes can be shared or made private; see here for more info.

Additional requests

  • You can add additional requests (visible to the client) that are part of the appointment; all staff members who have access to the appointment can see this note.
