Note sharing settings
First, configure your note sharing settings. To access, go to “My Business” tab > Booking Rules > Client Note Visibility.
Options include:
"Only allow to create private notes": all notes will be private (i.e. only visible to the creator of the note).
"Only allow to create shared notes": all notes will be shared (i.e. visible to all staff members).
"Allow both (private and shared)": the creator of the note chooses whether it's shared or private.
Shared notes will be visible by all staff members associated with your store.
Client notes created prior to enabling “note sharing” will remain private. To change a note from “private” to “shared”, consult the section below.
How to share a note or make it private
To make a note private, follow these steps:
In the “Clients” tab, select a client.
Click "Client Notes".
Select the note you want to make private.
Click the “Options” menu (⋮), then select “Edit Note Details…”.
Check the checkbox shown below:
Click on OK to save your changes.
To share a private note, simply uncheck the checkbox mentioned in step 5.
Sharing notes with other stores
Client notes can also be shared with other stores. Shared client notes will be visible by all staff members associated with any store sharing a common clientele.
