What they are, and what they mean

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What are Booxi alerts

Booxi alerts are in-app notifications triggered by Booxi and accessible from your back-office (web) and the Booxi Mobile app. The alerts inform you of specific events that you need to be aware of or that require your action (e.g. appointment confirmation).

Alerts are sent for appointments and group reservations only.

How to access Booxi alerts

Booxi alerts are available from your back-office (web) and the Booxi Mobile app.

  1. Access the alerts from the bell icon on the upper right side of your web back-office.

When you receive an alert, it will appear as a red bell with the number of alerts.

If there are currently no alerts, the bell icon will be greyed out.

2. Click the bell icon to access the alert panel.

3. By default, alerts associated with your profile will be displayed.

Based on your user access rights:

  1. You can view other staff members' alerts by clicking on their profile picture, as shown below:

2. You can also display the alerts of all staff members.

After having read the alert, perform the required action or click “Got It” to remove it from the panel.

The “Remind me later” option reminds you about the alert 1 hour later.
