Manage staff working hours from the Mobile App

This article describes how to manage work schedules from the mobile application.

Updated over a week ago

In our effort to provide the same functionalities across all products, staff work schedules can now be managed entirely from the Booxi mobile app. This article will explain how to do so.

⚠️ Disclaimer: the ability to edit schedules is limited by an employee’s role. Administrators, Supervisors and Store Managers can edit the work schedules of any staff members. Staff members can only edit their own work schedules, unless their role is set to restricted staff.

Accessing Staff Schedules

  1. Go to the Personnel tab and select a staff member among the list

  2. From the staff summary page, tap on “Work schedule” as shown below

Editing Staff Schedules

To edit an existing work schedule, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the “View More” (...) icon and select “Edit”. To remove a schedule, tap on “Remove” instead.

  2. Assign the schedule a “Start” and “End Date” by tapping on the corresponding fields and selecting dates appropriately.

  3. Assign time blocks for each working day by tapping on the (+) and (-) icons. In the case of non-work days, leave the work hours blank.

Note: When editing a work schedule “Start” and “End Date”, be careful not to assign dates that would overlap with other existing schedules. If done so, you will be prompted with an error message and you will not be able to save your changes.
