How to create an open hour schedule

To access, go to the "My Business" tab > Open Hours. To create a new schedule, follow these steps:

  1. Click the “⊕” button.

  2. Select a date range (i.e. a start and end date).

  3. For each day of the week, select a start and end time (you may add various time ranges within a day).

A schedule represents a recurring week. Its hour ranges can be defined for each day individually. The example below showcases a daily schedule with 2 time ranges: one from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a one hour lunch break (between 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM) and a second one from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

You may create multiple “Open Hours” schedules, but they cannot be overlapping. Only one will be active at any given time (the active schedule will be marked with a green dot).

When editing a schedule, changes are applied in real time. If a schedule is to end soon but no subsequent schedule is created, your business will be considered closed (i.e. not present any booking availabilities) until a new schedule is created.

The impact of open hours

Your business open hours will affect the following elements, based on your settings:

  1. Staff availability, if their work schedule is set to "Open business hours"

  2. Resource availability, if its schedule is set to "Open Business Hours"

  3. Open hours listed on your booking page (see below)

Business open hours do not affect the status of your store (i.e. whether it is listed as online or offline).

Open hours shown on your booking page will display the current date at the top (in bold).

Use case

If your business open hours are variable (e.g. seasonal schedule, temporary closures for vacation or inventory management, holidays, etc.), you can create multiple open hour schedules to accommodate this case.

Example:

Your business is open all year round on weekdays between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, except for a 2 week break during the holiday season (between December 21 - January 5):

  • Create a schedule for January 6 - December 21 with the following hours:

    • Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    • Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    • Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    • Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    • Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    • Saturday: {blank}

    • Sunday: {blank}

  • Create a schedule for December 22 - January 5 without entering any hours.
