Profile & cover picture, Business details, Business open hours, Booking rules

To access your business profile, go to the "My Business" tab. Your business profile contains the following sections:

  1. Profile & cover picture

  2. Business details

  3. Open Business hours

  4. Booking rules

  5. Integration module(s)

Profile & cover picture

Your business profile includes a profile and cover picture. Both visuals are displayed on your Booxi booking page and booking widget.

  1. Click the camera icon at the bottom right corner of the picture you want to edit.

  2. Click "Upload a photo" to upload a picture from your computer or tablet OR "Reset to default" remove the picture.

  3. When complete, click "Save"

Here are the picture specifications:

  • Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG, GIF

  • Maximum file size: 16Mb

  • Maximum dimensions: 1600 pixels (width and height)

Business Details 

  1. Click "Business Details"

  2. Enter the following information:

    1. Business name

    2. Contact first name and last name (not visible to clients)

    3. Business phone number; you can choose to show or hide this on your Booxi Booking page)

    4. Booking Filter Tags (if applicable)

      1. This is relevant for the booking widget configuration; for more info, speak to your Booxi representative.

    5. Business Address; you can choose to show or hide this on your Booxi Booking page and Booking widget

    6. Taxes (if applicable)

    7. Description; this will be displayed in the "About us" section on your booking page

    8. Customize Legal Terms Web Link; enter a custom URL if you do not want to use Booxi's default legal terms

    9. Customize Privacy Policy Web Link; enter a custom URL if you do not want to use Booxi's default privacy policy

  3. Once complete, click "Save".

The following details cannot be changed:

  • Booxi site – This is the Booxi-generated website that can be used by your clients to book services. You may copy and paste this URL into a social post, or any marketing material. Make sure your business is set to "Available online" to make it available.

  • API Key – this is a series of letters and numbers that you will need to integrate the booking widget into your website or directory.

Integration module(s)

The following integrations are available:

  • Stripe

    • Allows clients to submit online payments when booking.

  • Square

    • Allows clients to submit online payments when booking.

  • Lightspeed

    • Allows the creation of Lightspeed sales from Booxi, and facilitates the management of in-store payment.
