In the Booxi Back Office, there are several places where the online and offline status are relevant. Below are all of the affected components, with an explanation of the differences between the statuses.
My Business
Your business (i.e. store) may be listed as Online or Offline.
If your Business is Available online:
Your Booxi page is accessible to customers.
If your Business is offline:
Your Booxi page will be inaccessible and lead to a 404 error page.
However, customers can still book through the Booxi Booking Widget that you have integrated on your website.
*Note: list your business online if you want to allow your clients to book services through your booking page and/or directly on your website. List your business as offline if you prefer to initiate the booking of services yourself.
Personnel
Individual staff members may be listed as Online or Offline.
If your staff is Available online:
The staff profile will be displayed on your Booxi page and your customers can book a service directly with that staff.
If you enabled personnel selection, your customers will be able to select the staff in the Booxi Booking Widget.
If your staff is offline:
The staff profile will not be displayed on your Booxi page.
If you enabled personnel selection, your customers won't be able to select the staff in the Booxi Booking Widget but an appointment can still be automatically dispatched to this staff. Turning the staff offline doesn't mean your staff is unavailable for online booking!
Services
Individual services may be listed as Online or Offline.
If your service is Available online:
It will be displayed in the Booxi page and in the Booxi Booking Widget.
Customers can book this service.
If your service is offline:
It will not be displayed in the Booxi page and in the Booxi Booking Widget.
Customers cannot book this service online.
