The “Services” tab is for the management of your services.
Service basics
Services can be booked by clients through your booking page and/or directly on your website (depending on your settings).
Booxi supports 2 types of services:
Appointment: service for 1 or more person(s) (e.g. haircut, manicure, consultation, fitting, etc.); can be assigned a resource (optional)
Group event: service for multiple people (e.g. workshops, trainings, product demonstrations, group activities, etc.) accommodating up to 1000 participants
What’s included in a service:
Service details: basic service information
Assigned Personnel: list of staff members that can work this service
Assigned Resources: resources (i.e. items, materials or assets) necessary for the carrying out of the service (e.g. a room, a piece of equipment, etc.)
Booking Rules: settings relating to the booking of the service

Description
Assigned Personnel
Select the staff members that can be scheduled to work this service and/or booked by clients. To assign a staff member, simply check the corresponding box.
Associated Resources
Select the resources that are necessary for the carrying out of the service (e.g. a room, a piece of equipment, etc.). For info on resources, see here.
When booking a service that has at least 1 resource assigned to it, the selection of a resource will be required during booking (*can be overridden).
Resources affect the overall availability of the service(s) it’s assigned to. See here for more details.
Resources must be created in order to be available for selection. To do so, visit the “Resources” tab.
Resource assignment is optional.
Resources cannot be double-booked; this means that the system will only allow you to assign resources that are available at the proposed time.
